UX Designer
Do you think the web should be a more beautiful place? Do you have mad design skills but willing to admit you're wrong if user testing or hard data proves otherwise? Can you code what you design in HTML and CSS? If so, we definitely want to talk to you. Bonus points if you are a JavaScript ninja.
Graduating from the 500 Startups accelerator has infused with an obsession for user-centric design. You will have the opportunity to meet, network and hack with other designers. Past speakers hosted by 500 Startups have included Jeffrey Veen (TypeKit) and Craig Mod (Flipboard).

Software Developer (Ruby)
We're looking for a talented developer with a passion for shipping clean code and great products. As one of the first hires you'll get your hands dirty at all levels of the stack, and you'll have a huge impact on our product, technology, and culture.
Our current stack includes HTML/CSS, SASS, JQuery, CoffeeScript, Ruby on Rails (3.1), Postgresql, Memcached, and soon to come Redis, Solr/Lucene. This list will expand, so you should be excited about learning and experimenting with new technologies. We work with multiple APIs. Familiarity with the Facebook and LinkedIn APIs is a plus.
We move fast and we care about quality. Writing unit tests using modern framework like RSpec or Shoulda should be second nature to you.
We want to see your code, so send us a short resume with a URL to your github account or any source code you crafted.
